Update: May 2023
Then there came a flicker of light. The family that Taylor had known in Nairobi came to us (Board members) with an idea. This family worked in the same school as Taylor worked in. They ministered in many areas together, knew the same people, spent a lot of time together. Daniel and his wife Stefanie had an idea and asked if we would be open to them using the logo of Love and Be Loved. Their idea, was to train the staff at the Ark school to recognize and help with the severe abuses taking place in their area.
You see the school where Taylor and Daniel and Stef work is in the slums of Nairobi. Many very poor and destitute children attend. The sexual abuse and physical abuse are rampant. Many of the teachers have been victims as children as well. The situation is dire. But, God has a plan and he saw fit to share that plan with someone who was listening. We were thrilled with the idea so we closed down the Canadian side of Love and Be Loved and handed over the logo and name to the Ark school for their program.
They have had their first training seminar and we are very hopeful and we know Taylors legacy will live on.

Mission to Love
We partner with Love and Be Loved Poverty Relief Association to “empower orphans, children, women, and men with love through educational opportunities and basic living necessities.”
We believe in loving one another and learning to accept love.
It is with deep sadness that we must announce the tragic passing of Taylor Judd, founder of Love and Be Loved, Africa. Taylor, along with her brother, Adam died in a tragic car accident on Feb. 20th, 2022 in Nairobi, Kenya. She was a very good friend and partner with GGs Good Greens. Taylor took care of the creative side of the business and I supported many of her projects in Africa. She will be missed so very much.
Love and Be Loved Board Members will be keeping the non profit LABL alive until the end of the year, December 2022, at which time the Board will decide where to allocate funds donated towards LABL. We will continue to take donations. GGs will continue to donate a portion of our proceeds and at the end of the year we will donate, in Taylor’s name, towards one of the projects she worked on in Kenya.
We will endeavour to keep everyone updated through this web page. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. It is our hope, as a Board, to also plan a fundraising project in September.
Sincerely,
Lori Brouwer
